The Mathieu Plant is a former ochre factory that produced about 1,000 tons of ochre per year from 1921 to 1963. There is a shop that sells pigment colours and other nice artist materials and they give guided tours. Highly recommended! The town Roussillon is also nice to visit with many galleries and colourful houses.
